Round Boards
A. Traditional round crokinole board, finished with a clear finish, or a unique colour scheme, with either wood stain or acrylic artist colour on the front side (playing surface). A stain might be applied to the reverse side, but it could also remain clear, but does not have another game on the reverse side. This board is the quickest and easiest to make, but allow about 6 to 8 weeks from start to finish and then potentially a week or more for shipping. It will have a slick polished playing surface, and comes with a set of disks, rules, and maintenance instructions. Also included is a bottle of lemon oil and a small jar of crokinole powder. $295 CDN plus shipping.
B. Personalized, laser-engraved message within Crokinole Craft medallion on the reverse. $45 CDN (All boards come with a standardized Crokinole Craft laser-engraved medallion on the reverse included as part of the overall price.)
C. A hand-drawn, hand-painted checkerboard, or other game such as the Mill Game, Parcheesi, etc., applied to the reverse side. $45 CDN.
D. Felt-lined ditch and inside of rail. $45 CDN Felt-base on the reverse $45 CDN. Felt colours: grey, dark brown or black. Why felt? When in the ditch/inside rail, it makes the game surprisingly quieter, and when on the underside allows the board to sit firmly on a table.
Octagonal Boards
A. Octagonal board finished with a clear finish, a unique colour scheme, with either wood stain or acrylic artist colour on the front side (playing surface). A stain might be applied to the reverse side, but it could also remain clear. This style of board uses more wood in its construction, is considerably heavier, but very sturdy, and heavier than a round board. It comes with a slick polished playing surface, a set of disks, rules, and maintenance instructions. Also included is a bottle of lemon oil and a small jar of crokinole powder. $345 CDN plus shipping.

Shipping & Handling
All boards come safely packaged in a double-walled cardboard box to your local post office, or door, and are shipped by mail or courier, and insured. Shipping and handling is $60 CDN for anywhere in Canada and $85 CDN for anywhere in the USA. Please allow a minimum of a week or more for shipping. In some cases, shipping to the USA has taken 4 weeks!
Each board comes with a set of crokinole disks (black and clear/tan), plus two spares of each colour in a container, rules, description of shooting technique and use of crokinole powder, and maintenance instructions. Additional sets of disks are $20 CDN. (Possible colours: black, clear/tan, blue, red, and green). All discs are standard 32 mm regulation size.
To place an order for a board, or if you have questions before buying, please contact Bernie and discuss design options like colours, styles, and shape. If a board is being designed "from scratch,” as per your ideas, it will take a minimum of 6 weeks to produce, primarily because finishing and polishing take time, and finishes need to cure properly. “One cannot rush the artist or craftsman.” If you choose to take a board currently in production or finished (digital pictures are supplied), delivery is prompt.
All boards are built from Baltic birch plywood, but may include pine, oak, or maple depending on the series I may be working on at the time. All lines are fine black permanent ink. Boards are supplied with sturdy brass rubber-clad pins, a set of tournament quality disks, plus two spares of each colour. The disks are provided in a neat tin/box/container of some form for storage purposes.
